Alt. to Thanksgiving Dinner: Native American Feast

(For all ages) Enjoy a simple, healthy, delicious alternative to Turkey or Tofurky. Celebrate the season the way the some native peoples of North America did before the arrival of Westerners. Children and families welcome! Hands-on group preparation of dehydrated and/or smoked salmon, salad of wild gathered greens and herbs, corn cakes, wild honey and cultivated vegetables, herbs and roots, as available. Fig dessert and seasonal or frozen berries. All ingredients will be wild-caught, organic, gathered and as much local as possible. Learn to prepare this meal for your family at home. [1 workshop]
