Driver Education

Driver's Ed photoIn collaboration with the St. Joseph School District, this program will allow students from St. Joseph and the surrounding area to attend Driver's Education for $25.00.

To enroll in this program, during the class and driving schedule, the student must be 15-19 years of age (photo copy of birth certificate required), currently enrolled in school, and
not have graduated from high school.

This course includes 30 hours of classroom work, 12 hours of observation time in the vehicle and six hours behind the wheel. Successful completion of the course will entitle you to receive a certificate verifying that all requirements of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education have been met. You do not need a permit for this class. Driving and observation times will be arranged with the instructor, and may be scheduled outside of the dates the class meets.

Classes begin June 2, 2008 and July 7, 2008. Registration for this class will only be taken in person on a first come, first serve basis, starting at 8:00 AM, Friday, April 11, 2008.
