The goal of the Science and Technology Incubator is to provide facilities and assistance for start-up companies. The incubator houses a laboratory, conference room, operation offices and tenant spaces. Its flexible floor plan can accommodate 12-15 firms of a few persons each, or a few large firms requiring larger spaces. The Incubator is now accepting tenants. The Incubator is situated within the Animal Health Corridor, located just 35 minutes north of Kansas City International Airport along I-29 in St. Joseph, MO. The United States Animal Health Association (USAHA), established in 1897, is a non-profit, member-driven, science-based organization devoted to prevention, control and eradication of animal diseases in the United States. USAHA has 1,200 members representing state and federal agencies, universities, industry and veterinary organizations and other groups with interest in animal health, disease control, animal welfare, food safety and public health. USAHA serves as a clearinghouse for new information and methods that can be used in the development of laws, regulations, policy and programs.
