Combination Video/Face-to-Face Classes

Video/Face-to-Face combination classes are taught using a combination of video lectures from a MWSU faculty member and the skills of the high school teacher to conduct the labs in the high school and supplement the video instruction.

Students and the high school instructor will also visit the MWSU campus two times a year (once in the fall and once in the spring) to participate in more sophisticated lab experiments.

The high school instructor must attend a workshop on MWSU campus to conduct labs. During this summer workshop, high school instructors practice in lab sessions and gain a better understanding of the course, Western faculty member, materials and expectations.
