Combination Online/Video Classes

These courses are taught via distance education by a MWSU faculty member. A certified teacher must be present during the high school class time.


Fitness and Wellness
Develop knowledge and skill in obtaining optimal health fitness through nutrition, stress management, cardiorespiratory endurance, recognition of risk factors for health disease, and musculoskeletal development.

Course Number: PED 101
Credit Hours: 3

Delivery Method: Consists of videotaped lectures with online course management for assignments, tests and other communication. An on-site lab may be conducted at the beginning and end of the semester.

*This course is not required to be part of the high school's physical education curriculum.


Introduction to Archaeology
The language, methodology, theoretical frameworks and history of the field of archaeology, with special emphasis on excavations and their contribution to knowledge of past civilization.

Credit Hours: 3

Delivery Method: Consists of videotaped lectures with online course management for assignments, tests and other communication. The University instructor will meet with students at your school a minimum of two times during the semester.
