Student Eligibility

High School College Credit courses are open to high school juniors and seniors who meet the following guidelines:

Minimum overall grade-point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or the equivalent [required by the Missouri Department of Higher Education]

Recommended by the high school principal or the principal's designee

Must meet same requirements for admission to individual courses as those required of on-campus students

For the following courses, student must meet ACT or placement exam requirement:

ENG104 College Writing and Rhetoric - ACT English subtest score of at least 19, or passing score on the Writing Placement Examination

MAT116 College Algebra - ACT math score of at least 20, or passing score on Math Placement Examination

MAT119 Trigonometry - ACT math score of at least 20, or passing score on Math Placement Examination

MAT130 Pre-Calculus - ACT math score of at least 20, or passing score on Math Placement Examination

MAT132 Elementary Statistics - Grade of C or better in MAT116 or equivalent

MAT167 Calculus - ACT math score of at least 25, or grade of C or better in MAT130 or equivalent

CHE111 General Chemistry - ACT math score of 20 or higher, or passing score on math placement exam
