Traditional High School College Credit College general education courses taught in high schools by high school teachers. Subject areas include Math, Biology, Chemistry, Spanish, English, Engineering, French and History. Western Institute currently offers the following Traditional High School College Credit courses. Please call us or check with your counselor to find out which specific courses are offered at your high school.
The high school faculty must be approved by the appropriate MWSU academic department chair to teach the class for college credit. A minimum of a master's degree that includes substantial study appropriate to the academic field in which they are teaching is required. High school faculty work with an assigned Western faculty member to develop the class, testing procedures, professional development, etc. |
