Designed to assist the undeclared students, and the practitioner working with undeclared students, to decide on an appropriate academic major and research related career fields. Students will identify their skills and interests, gain an understanding of their personality preferences and work values, explore majors and minors, compare and contrast career choices, create their academic plan and set their academic and career goals. Students will be required to complete a research project, compile a portfolio of information and write a comprehensive paper on their research, findings and conclusions. One of the goals of this class is to facilitate student articulation with academic departments. |
