Academic & Career Research

CED149-41
Designed to assist the undeclared students, and the practitioner working with undeclared students, to decide on an appropriate academic major and research related career fields. Students will identify their skills and interests, gain an understanding of their personality preferences and work values, explore majors and minors, compare and contrast career choices, create their academic plan and set their academic and career goals. Students will be required to complete a research project, compile a portfolio of information and write a comprehensive paper on their research, findings and conclusions. One of the goals of this class is to facilitate student articulation with academic departments. 
Course Fee:
$166.40 per credit hour plus any additional fees

Special Notes: Class meets in Eder Hall 208 March 29 at 4:30 pm. Class taken via internet through WebCT. Students MUST have internet access and contact the instructor before the first day of class.
