Thinking about becoming a police officer?
The Missouri Western State University Regional Law Enforcement Academy is certified by the Missouri Department of Public Safety, Peace Officer's Standards and Training Commission, as a certified academy. The academy exceeds the State of Missouri's minimum basic training requirements for peace officer certification and results in a POST certificate.
The next full-time, day academy begins July 2, 2012.
Two basic full-time police academy classes are held per year.
The program lasts approx. 23 weeks, Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
